With direct access to the pistes from the small and cosy wooden houses, your fun-filled days start right at your door, whilst the glistening slopes and great après-ski ensure unforgettable holidays.

Breath it in... that delicious oxygen rich mountain air. Located on a sunny terrace high above the Rhone Valley with a view of the four-thousand-metre-high peaks of the Valais including the Weisshorn, Dom and Matterhorn:

Picturesque Bettmeralp. The extensive winter sports areas of Bettmeralp will more than fulfil your expectations. On the edge of the Aletsch Glacier, the longest ice-flow in the Alps, snow and adventure await you side by side. 35 lifts connect 99 km of pistes, whilst snowboarding fans will want to see and be seen in the excellently prepared boarder parks. Have we mentioned our extensive network of well-prepared winter walking and cross-country trails? Or try your hand at snowshoeing and discover the Aletsch winter paradise at an even more leisurely pace.

Discover how good it is... Although Aletsch has been included on UNESCO World Heritage list since 2001, it remains and insiders' secret among winter resorts. For guests, this has to be an advantage: you hardly ever have to wait at the ski lifts and there is plenty of space for everyone on the snowsure pistes and cross-country trails.

At the heart of this region lies the incomparable Aletsch glacier; at more than 23 km, the longest ice-flow in the Alps. The most impressive views of this 27-billion-ton wonder are from the Eggishorn - which is also where the most challenging pistes lie.

Bettmeralp is the middle of the three connected and car-free resorts; even in the delightful heart of the village you can ski or snowboard from the piste up to your chalet door. There are also several gentle slopes, particularly well suited to families.
