YOUR DAY
It's the journey not the destination... not true, it's both. Start the day with a spectacular journey the length of the Rhône valley up to the region of Goms and the village of Oberwald. Although there's not a large skiing area on offer here, Hungerberg sure has a lot of character and diverse terrain. Ski in and amongst the trees of the upper forest and marvel at the spectacular views. Offering pistes of all degrees of difficulty for both skiers and snowboarders, it's just as well suited for beginners right through to intermediates/advanced. Stop for a spot of lunch and meet the friendly locals at the Bergrestaurant with its sun drenched terrace which offers marvellous remote views over the whole Goms valley and surrounding mountains. Wind up the day with a walk around the cosy town of Oberwald before enjoying an après ski in one of the simple village pubs. Sit back and relax as you glide home past silhouettes of the Alps.
